Having worked with Downing Developments for seven years, in December 2012, they then asked us to help launch their student accommodation division. We developed the Downing Students name and brand identity which led on to the launch of their student accommodation presence in London, for a scheme in Acton – The Lyra. We produced a marketing strategy to increase brand and product awareness, based on the London Underground, at Student Unions and Music Venues and magazine advertising for the international student market. We then progressed the branding to external site hoardings, show flat signage, key marketing materials including student folders, leaflets and flyers along with promotional items and exhibition stands for student housing fairs. Online activity included the development of a website, quarterly UCAS e-blasts, online advertising such as web banners and mastheads and social media.
