Project Date: March 02, 2015 Skills: Web Development

NHS South East Central Services Unit provides support services to clinical commissioning groups, NHS England and health and care providers. As part of their extensive communications and engagement offer to put patients and the public at the heart of commissioning, an online solution was required to host a number of resources developed by South East CSU to help Clinical Commissioning Groups and Area Teams embed the patient voice in health service planning and delivery. These resources include training courses, tools and guidance designed to help commissioners develop their skills and good practice in this area to achieve better outcomes, better investment and better care. Over a very short timescale we designed, developed and delivered a website that met this agenda in an engaging and effective manner. While developing the website was a relatively straightforward task, the development of the resources in an easily used database, was slightly more complex. The key challenge in this work was ensuring a meaningful output from a database search and effective guidance when search criteria offered few or no results. Following extensive testing the website went live on time, within budget and meeting all of the client’s requirements. Go to Project
